Ooredoo, a brand of Qtel from Qatar, successfully launched full 3G mobile network services in 2014 after
less than a year technology rollout. As part of the strategy to quickly grow subscribers, Ooredoo required a
world class ICT partner with service delivery experience and trusted alliance partners to help build the best
IT environment. This strategy was expedient to maximize returns on investment and Huawei brought this to the
engagement with complete turnkey IT capability that included products, partners and professional services.

Huawei and its partners defined and designed the best Telecom IT architecture for Ooredoo, and fulfilled the build and
delivery requirement on global standards and frameworks. By offering Huawei’s E2E professional services (technical
advisory, systems integration and managed services), Huawei delivered prime systems integration (PSI) across 48
application portfolios to realize Ooredoo’s commercial launch requirements.

Through Huawei’s partnership, Oredoo Myanmar achieved simplified multi-vendor management during the project,
optimized investment to meet commercial launch schedule to provide an enhanced operations and maintenance of IT.
